What is a lazy, clean, almost hairless dog or not, but it has to shed its hair?

hairless dogs are NOT for lazy people!!

I spend more time taking care of my hairless's skin than I do grooming my long haired dog. They need care to prevent acne, blackheads, skin infections, dry skin, sunburn, windburn.

If you are lazy, then get a stuffed dog. All dogs need some kind of care, whether its grooming, training, or exercize. There is no such thing as a "low maintenence" dog.

If you are that lazy, that you can only handle a lazy hairless dog ... Then I don't think you should get a dog.. You should get a cat and take a nice long nap..

Huh?? Hairless but has to shed its hair?? I think the right dog for you would be Rowdy from Scrubs.

Poodles do not have fur. They have hair therefore do not shed, however needs to be maintained! I have met a lot of hyper-active poodles, so maybe not the best dog for you.

Chiuauas do not need much exercise %26amp; are great lap dogs. They do shed a lot of hair, but as long as you keep it brushed, should not be too bad. You can get long or short haired.

However from what I've read, you do not have enough time %26amp; energy to take proper care of a dog. Like other people have suggested, perhaps a cat or goldfish may be a better option.

Good luck

Chinese crested are mostly hairless, but then you have to do extra stuff for their skin, like put sunscreen on them. I'd recommend you think seriously before you get a dog. You could get most adult or senior dogs, who have calmed down and aren't so crazy, but they still have to be brushed, bathed, etc. I love my beagle. He's 3 and he's a lazy old man :) But he does shed, like any dog, and I still bathe him, brush his teeth, clip his nails, clean his ears, walk him several times a day, feed him, change his water a lot, get his shots and take him to the vet when he does something dangerous, like eat chicken bones. So, if you want a dog, you have to be ready for all that stuff and more. Even if the dog is low key and lazy, they'll still be a lot of work for you.

Have you looked into a retired racing greyhound? They have short hair that sheds, and as long as they can get a good run occasionally, they are fairly lazy around the house.

I would definetly say a Greyhound they are pretty lazy dogs they prefer to just lay around. Or even an Italian Greyhound, which is just a smaller version of the greyhound.
