Animal hair on pants?

I have a cat and dog. I always have cat or dog hair on my uniform pants. I use a lint roller to remove the hair but it comes back in a few minutes. I clean my pants with the lint roller right before I leave for school, but after an hour of being at school my pants are covered in hair. There's none on my bookbag or jacket.

Run a damp cloth or your damp hands in a sweeping motion from top to bottom all over.

Make sure you are not standing so that the breeze blows it right back on you!

try throwing it in the dryer

that helps with my work uniform because i have 3 kitties and the hair is a bother.

I have that same problem w/ my boyfriend's uniform.

We have to keep it in plastic and hang it while it's in the house and then roll it RIGHT before he walks out the door. Any sooner and the hair will find a way to cover it.

There isn't a repellant that I know of-unfortunately.

I have attacked the problem in several ways.

The problem is multifaceted.

Too much hair

Too much static (cling)

Too dry air.

When the uniform is laundered be sure to use fabric softener. And a dryer sheet. That will reduce static cling on the uniform.

There is a spray can of product that you can lightly spray on the uniform one it is out of the dryer, anti-static cling.

Vacumme just once more per week in the main living rooms. Have a good quality vac with a bag, bagless sends too much into the air. Since i purchased my Hoover 7000 I have no such pet hair issues.

Brush your pets at least once per week in the far corner of your yard, bag all clumps of hair. Tie and toss bag with out coming into the house with it. I brush my dogs front to back and then switch and stroke back to front to really loosen all of the hair.

I leave them out for a few minutes as more hair will still shake off of them in the next few minutes.

After that routine then the stickly roller can do it's job and grab the few flyaways. I keep a roller in my car so that if I do have some that reappear after I leave, I can get them before I enter a business.

I developed asthma. So I had to get really serious about the amount of pet hair in my environment. Now I seldom take the asthma meds.

I also dust with a damp cloth rather than any dry duster or furniture polish. The damp cloth picks up the hair and dust better.

very best of luck,

you have to take the animal to a vet and to him 4 baths per week
