Family member is allergic to dog?

We just got a pomeranian (about 2 weeks ago) and it turns out the family member who stays home all day and exposed to the dog the most is allergic. She has developed itching all over her body with watery eyes. We did have another dog that was similar in hair texture about 4 years ago. Is it actually possible to not be allergic and then suddenly be? We've checked her for fleas already.

I'm allergic to dogs. and iw as allergic to cats. But now im not for some reason. Pomeranians especially kicked up my allergies... cute dogs. TERRIBLE for allergy sufferers.

been there done that yes it is possible to become allergic to anything at any time of life my solution get allergenic spray sold at stores in the pet isle get a baby gate that expands and keep the dog isolated to one room in the house oh and an air purifier really helps also keep the dog shampooed 2 times a week with a danger control shampoo good luck

yup..it is possible...especialy to those who...u know..who are not so young...coz immune systems wares off if your aging...
