It can be any number of things, but letting git continue to get worse may actually cause more problems to develop. Although we can give you an idea, what will have to happen is the vet will need to do a skin scraping or even blood test to find out the real problem.

Take them both to the vet. He could have allergies, mites, ringworm or any number of other things. The vet can tell you what it is and how to get rid of it.

It sounds like it's most likely ring worm, a bacteria that forms in circles on your skin, although it may just be allergies. Anyway you look at it you should take your pup in to make double sure it's not mange. The vet will probably give you a medicated shampoo, such as sebozile, and have you bathe the pup every 3 days. Make sure you're leaving the shampoo on for the reccomended ammount of time (usually 10 minutes) so that it can work, and give it a few weeks. Hope he gets better soon!

This could be a type of ringworm if so he needs to be taken to a vet to get it cleared up, or a staff infection, One flea and some are severely allergic and they will practically pull their hair out(flea bites can last up to 10-14 days like mosquito's) Also allergies. Did you have him groomed recently? I am a groomer and no I have not done this but I have heard of groomers not cooling off the blades that they are using and rashing the dog (especially in the genital area. This is very irritating to me by the way I don't understand why they can be so careless sometimes I treat every one of my customers dogs like they were my own. Oh Sorry anyhow it could be several possibilities but he could definitely benefit from a cortisone shot. Good Luck!!

allergies maybe, try bathing him in an oatmeal bath or using a dog shampoo with oatmeal. this should help ease his skin irritants, other than that call or take ur dog to the vet. they'll be able to help u out better~good luck
