I was looking for something all natural as oppose to the stuff the pet salon uses. Has anyone tried this before? I assumed it is not harmful since it is natural but just wanted to make sure.

as long as it is all natrual with no chemicals it will be fine. just be extra careful around eyes and mouth. I have not done this to my dogs but used to work in a pooch salon

It's one thing to put a little sweater on your dog if it's chilly (and happens to be cute!) but quite another to actually put something on its skin. I mean, a lot of dogs are allergic to shampoos actually formulated for dogs...so, it depends on the dog..but this is just beyond reason....

And, a lot of things that are all natural can be harmful.(ie poisonous berries are "all natural" doesn't mean you should eat them). So don't be deceived by that label.

Please, just treat your dog like he/she is supposed to be treated. Like a DOG.

I have used food coloring to dye dog's hair. But some colors fade in very ugly ways, so beware.
